These puppies were seen on the market at Louhans. I'm not sure that I really agree with puppies being sold in this way because the breeders probably don't know anything about the buyers and I'm not sure how it works. However, I suppose breeders probably don't know anything about buyers here. I haven't owned a dog so I don't know what checks if any are carried out.
I do think the puppy on the right has such an appealing little face. I wish I could have brought him home!
Thanks for getting a couple of my shots on PP yesterday - it really is much appreciated.
Pets shouldn't be sold like veg on a market. As a buyer you never know anything about the breeder and the dogs, and often these dogs are hightly traumatized so its hard work for the new owner. This isn't allowed here, though you get illigal trading out of car boots, of dogs from Eastern Europe, sold as a bargain
No this way of selling is not ideal but you can't start telling anyone that you don't agree with it in their country! We have this problem when we go on holiday & see how cows are out in all weathers when we are used to housing ours all winter.
I agree with what @khirsch says - shouldn't be allowed. Can create more problems in the future and these guys look like pedigree field spaniels. Have they all got their vaccinations etc....?
