It was so difficult finding something to post after yesterday's kingfisher. I went to bed last night on such a high I couldn't get to sleep! That's a bit sad isn't it? I took a print of the kingfisher into work this morning and they were really impressed so I am sure that one of them will be one of the first entries into the camera club competition this autumn.
After such a lovely brightly coloured and elusive bird, I decided to post this one of a male mallard having a drink at RSPB on Tuesday. He did look quite lovely with his bright green head but of course he's not really competition for the kingfisher.
I half heartedly took a shot of the church in the village where I work but wasn't very impressed with it which is why I posted this.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and for getting yesterday's shot on PP even if it was only there for a very short time and I missed it!
