I've had a busy day one way or another so didn't have time for a very long walk but went up Wood Lane about half way up. I saw several yellowhammers and corn buntings. This little fellow decided to pose for me which was really helpful. The leaves are really coming off the trees now and it is much easier to see the birds. Best on black if you have the time.
Thanks for everyone's kind comments and Favs - it is really much appreciated. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend break. I often think of the nurses who are no doubt working all weekend as I used to be one of them and really value the time off to be with friends and family although I really loved my job.
