And they do listen to me. Actually the song is about trees but I don't talk to them although people probably think I do if they can't see the bird in the tree! I went for a long walk along the cycle track first one way and then up to the lock the other way. The only birds I saw other than robins were seagulls although I did hear blue tits and blackbirds. The robins were sounding some warning calls though but I did hear a couple singing.
It's a cold miserable grey day today and I've just told Steve that we must go and have a look at wood burners tomorrow so that I can keep a fire going in the lounge as it's cold in there during the day because the conservatory leads off from it and it's freezing in there in the winter. Oh dear the worst is yet to come and I hate winter because I hate being cold

Lovely shot. I talk to the birds too. We have two kookaburras who call every day and I have a chat to them as I feed them raw mince. They are such characters.
