Greenfinch by rosiekind

Greenfinch

I think this little greenfinch may have succumbed to the terrible disease that has destroyed so many birds as he seemed to be having trouble eating. He first went to the nuts and then gave up on them before going for the sunflower hearts but he seemed to be having trouble with those too. Then he went to the birdbath for a drink to help wash the food down. I can't help thinking that he has got problems and if so, then I have to disinfect all my feeders to prevent the spread of this horrible disease.
Oh dear

Life is so cruel -- such a little beauty -- I hope he may not have the disease which is so contagious !

@koalagardens Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done apart from disinfecting the feeders to stop the spread of disease to other birds. It's very sad
