Singing his heart out

I always think Christmas is associated with robins and this little fellow was singing so beautifully in the garden. I didn't have to go more than a few steps to take some shots of him. I told him that I was going to make him a star and he seemed to like the idea so he stayed in the conifer and sang his little heart out for me.

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We certainly did and I'm off to my daughter's soon to celebrate with her family. I visited them on Christmas Eve as it was Ben's 21st birthday on Christmas Day and I wanted to make she he got his present the day before as everyone it so busy opening Christmas presents that he somehow misses out. I bought him a St Christopher as I wanted to give him something to keep and remember me by. Thankfully he liked it and gave me such a lovely hug. He is a wonderful young man who always has a special place in my heart.
