Close up cocky

Well this pheasant was rather cocky! I couldn't believe how close I got to him. This is not cropped and I got to be about 6 ft away. I gradually worked my way round him as he sat on the fence and I was within a circle about 6 ft away all round. Usually they fly and I thought that's what he would do and hoped I could get a shot of him in flight but no he just sat there and preened! What a vain fellow he is but then he is rather beautiful.
