I think this little blackbird looked quite tired. I think some of them may be quite old so, like humans, they slow down and rest more. Blackbirds are very common birds and always come to the sundial where i put their breakfast while I am still out in the garden. I can get quite close to them if there are sultanas and suet pellets in my hands and we have a photo of Steve's late father with a blackbird taking food from his mouth!
I haven't been out today apart to fill up the feeders as it is a miserable wet day with showers on and off so I've had to make do with shots through the kitchen window.

@creampuff Oh you will need to put your feet up and have a lovely cup of tea or something stronger although that might send you to sleep! I wonder how busy it is in the Canvas Cafe today - it must be worth another trip!
@padlock Well it's certainly not me!!!! I'm only 25 - well that's how i feel today although yesterday I felt 100. It just shows that it is better not to go to work sometimes! I feel another trip to HH coming on next week maybe

You sure get great details and especially through your windows!! Mine are always on the blurry side. Most people around here think of blackbirds as pests. I think they're cute!! They do however take over my feeders when they find them!! So, I have to wait a few days to fill them again, so the blackbirds will leave for better places!! FAV!
