It's amazing that you don't realise until you retire that you were valued so highly! I didn't get a chance to upload yesterday as I had an hour and a half to do the food shopping before going back to the pub for 5pm to celebrate my retirement. I was staggered to receive so many lovely gifts and for once I was speechless! My colleagues obviously know me very well because every present was something I shall keep and treasure. The nesting box was very welcome as you can never have too many of them in your garden, the BBC Great British Year of Wildlife book will keep me happy for hours, the wine made from grapes in the vinyard BRCC manages will go down a treat, the digital picture frame is perfect to display my kingfisher shots, a cuddly meerkat will go in my collection, the lucky 4 leaf clover will be a joy to grow and the keyring will always remind me of my colleagues and friends at work. I really am so lucky as every one of my presents was chosen perfectly for me.
