I had to post this one as the others photos I took didn't show his yellow flash on the wing and they could have been any sort of bird. The goldfinches seem to be stopping by for a drink more often and they have nearly emptied the nyger seed feeder so I shall have to fill it up again. Nyger seeds are very small so usually I don't have to fill it up very often but we seem to have lots of juveniles about and I think they have had a good year for breeding. I have had 4 of them on the feeder at once with another 2 waiting their turn by sitting on the washing line. The youngsters haven't got their red heads yet.
