I went down to the brook looking for my friend the kingfisher but he just didn't appear. However, the geese seem to be very active at this time of the year and we often hear them flying over the house from one lake to another. These were flying over the fields near the brook and I just love the sound they make as they are very noisy shouting to each other. After this lot went over, they picked up another flock from Dovecote Lake. I haven't a clue where they were off to after that.
