I'm not having much luck with the technology as my iPad is playing up, my camera ran out of battery and I didn't have my spare will me. I shall forget my head next! Anyway this was taken on my phone
Lovely image full of colour and detail, I would start writing down what you have forgotten or is not working so on your next trip you can make a packing check list and put these at the top of your list Rosie, its so annoying when things don't go well even when a few miles away I set up my camera the other day only to find I had no SD card in my camera or camera bag:)
This is such a beauty Rosie! Now with my lens - 70-200 I had to keep moving back and I was unable to get a shot of this one because of the angle! I should have been using my iPhone too for the close ups! Lol! Fav!
@pcoulson I was so stressed out before I came Peter because my husband was unwell which had me in a bit of a panic. Fortunately he seems a lot better since I have been away and both the doctor and his friends have supported him.
What a beauty, Rosie!!! You captured a real gem here! Be really careful with all your photos. While I made my book and saved some favourites, I managed to delete the rest of our entire visit to Chicago with you all!!! It was a very sobering moment, but time to move on!
@jyokota Bless you, thoughtful friend! Truly, nothing I'd love more, but your Chicago circle needs time to recuperate from this latest visit! I could seriously consider it in the future, as Ken and I would know how to entertain ourselves when ya'll are busy, but we could count on seeing you part of the time as well! A year rolls by pretty quickly, doesn't it...?
@Weezilou -- Indeed, and I treasure the moments we share with friends. Last year was a difficult time for me so I only had one day with the group, and this year, only one day again but for different reasons. At least I didn't have a broken arm so I could photograph on the one day with my photo buddies! Perhaps next year will find more breathing space and time. :) And time for a REAL pavlova!
@jyokota You got it! Nothing would please me more than to "build" one for you! (And don't forget to keep Lunenburg in your sites...I'd be thrilled to reciprocate the love! ...and I can make Pavlova there, too ; )
