I have been up to RSPB HQ in Sandy this morning and sat in the hide as it has rained on and off. The usual birds were there that I see in my garden but when the pheasant arrived, it made my day as I haven't seen one for ages.
I daren't walk along Wood Lane at the moment as the travellers are still up there and our local Councillor had a word with them yesterday and they said that they are moving off today. It can't come soon enough and I suspect that they will leave a right mess behind them. It's no wonder people don't want them setting up camp near them. A friend of ours who lives along Wood Lane said that one of the trucks went out at 11.30pm the other night and arrived back at 3.30am so I expect they were up to no good as usual. We have CCTV cameras in our village to deter thieves so I don't suppose they would dare burgle us in the village while they are here but you never know what will happen when they have gone. Fingers crossed that nothing untoward happens.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and for getting yesterday's blue tit on PP. It is always much appreciated.l
