What's she pointing that big black thing at us for? by rosiekind

What's she pointing that big black thing at us for?

I thought the mallards looked as though they were having a conversation! Because I was too close to them with a big lens, I only got their fronts but I still liked this shot of them.

I am not very inspired today and after taking Steve to the bank because he can't walk very far with his bad back, I haven't really done anything very exciting and for some reason the birds in my garden have been in very short supply. I wonder whether there has been a sparrowhawk or something about.

I took a very quick walk into Priory just stopping by the lake for a few minutes and then popped into Tesco to get some food to take to Sarah's @pixiemac for lunch tomorrow as we are going to do a bit of experimenting in her garage again. It should be fun and I shall have some better shots for tomorrow hopefully.

In the meantime, thank you for stopping by and viewing my project. I am off to Camera Club tonight and we have a speaker called Tom Way talking about Wildlife through a lens so it should be right up my street.
Oh, Mallards do indeed have conversations! I've sat in on many of them as they're assessed my presence "with that big black thing"!
