I have spent the morning raking leaves and now have 4 builders bags full to take to the private tip that we take them to. Not many leaves left on the trees but this little coal tit didn't mind and it does make it much easier to get photos of them with no leaves to contend with.
I got a wonderful surprise when I was getting lunch as a redpoll visited the feeder outside the kitchen window but I didn't manage to get a shot of her even though the camera was within reach. She flew off too quickly but I do hope she comes back. It's the first one I have seen.
