Woodie decided to pose nicely in the lilac tree for me. I was surprised as he usually flies off when I am standing at the kitchen sink and point my camera at him. I think he was having a rest.
It's very cold again today as the wind would cut you in half but I managed a walk down to the lock this morning. I took my 80-400mm lens and I had forgotten how heavy it is. I think the 300mm prime will be back on my camera with the extender - a much more compact and lighter way to travel.
