I spent an hour down the brook this morning and it was lovely listening to the birds including the cuckoo. Blue tits have a nest in the tree I sit under and I watched them going in and out of the hole where the babies are waiting patiently to be fed. They were in and out constantly but this was after the chap with the portable hide eventually went. He left his hid behind so he is obviously going back but he was a right nuisance and he is encroaching much nearer to the nest which is obviously a disturbance as he said that he didn't think they had any youngsters in there. That is obviously not true as I have watched them both taking fish in and out but they didn't give me a lot of opportunity to photograph them as they didn't appear for a long while after he had gone. I hope he's not there again when I go down there.
