Down the brook this morning, the "hide man" was there again and would have been in my way had he not moved. However, I thought my luck was out with all the movement that he created getting out of his hide and parking it in front of me slightly to my right and I soon let him know that it was obscuring my view so he moved it a bit further over. I thought I would have to wait an hour to see the kingfishers again like I did the other day when he was causing a disturbance but luckily, I didn't have long to wait until they were perching on the stick again. I was pleased that I hung out for another 15 minutes because I was able to get this shot and I thought Bluey looked as though he was cross with Betsey for leaving the nest. I think the first brood must have hatched about 2 or 3 weeks ago and this is a second brood and "hide man" seems to think he knows it all from the few visits he has made saying that no youngsters have hatched. Anyway, I suppose you have to live and let live so I came away quite happy with the images I got.
Thanks for getting all 3 of yesterday's images on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
