The young woodies seem to be trying different foods from my bird feeders. I know that they like nuts and suet balls but it's the first time I have ever seen them eating sunflower hearts.
It has been a surprising day really as one of the blue tits inspected the robin nest box on the garage. He or she had a look and then went inside. Perhaps they are going to have their second brood in there. Watch this space!
