This is not cropped. The nuthatch really was that close that I almost thought I wouldn't be able to focus on him. I had a lovely morning up at RSPB HQ in Sandy with my very good friend Sarah @pixiemac. We felt that it was too windy to go down the brook and sit under the trees that are a bit rotten so we plumped for RSPB and it was great that we weren't disappointed. I have been lots of times and not seen a nuthatch anywhere but today was our lucky day.

So sad I couldn’t make it today especially now I have seen this nuthatch. George seems s lot better now but still coughing. Poor baby he was really unwell!
