This is a filler as I haven't had much to photograph today and I feel as though I need a lie down after talking to the man at Vindis where my car is at the moment. It went in for a diagnostic check as the ABS light came on and I have just been told that it will cost nearly £1,200! Gasp! Anyway, it has to be done.
This young squirrel was peering at me around a tree when I was up at RSPB the other day. I don't know whether he thought I couldn't see him but snap and he was a photo in my camera.
Thanks for getting yesterday's blue tit on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.
Ouch !!! I would have asked for a second opinion. Constantly having a very high annual mileage ( lifetime must be close to seven return trips to the moon), I have two excellent non main dealer garages that I have used for years. Often far cheaper for the same job.
PS. Lovely squirrel.
@markp Unfortunately our local garage said that they haven’t got the equipment to reprogram the part and they sent me to the main dealership so I am at their mercy
Oh right. That's the new trick. The software to do it is normally available to the independent dealer. But they charge a fortune for it and it's not worth buying it for every make, as they can't get their money back. Fortunately my two garages keep theirs up to date for my vehicles. Plus their Labour charges per hour are lower too. I've had to pay £550 for a little box of tricks the size of a small matchbox, but it only cost about £50 to fit !!!!
But a cute capture, all the same :)
PS. Lovely squirrel.
