This is one from yesterday as I have been busy visiting an old friend to discuss selling a couple of my prints in aid of the thatched chapel in the village where I grew up as they need to raise funds for rethatching. The Heritage Lottery are giving them a grant but they need to raise a certain amount.
This afternoon I have been trying to put together my poetry book that I am hoping to have published. More about that later I suspect as I am going to illustrate the poems with some of my photos.
Anyway, this is the view I saw as I came back from the cycle track and I just loved the pop of colour of the golden leaves 2/3rds of the way into the photo.
I go for my eye operation tomorrow and I shall have to leave home at 06.15 so I won't have much time for anything so please forgive me for getting way behind.

Oh I do hope all goes well with the eye Rosie. You will be glad to get that behind you. I hope you raise good money with your sales too - you deserve to. Looking forward to reading some of your poems.
