As the sun was shining I went for a walk along the cycle track right down to the lock. I saw this lovely robin on the way and just had to take some photos of him.
The other baffles arrived by Royal Mail this morning and one of them was broken as I suppose they have been throwing things about in their haste. Anyway, I put one over the nuts but the nuts were hanging on the washing line and after much grumpiness and shaking his tale, I thought Squizzer had given up trying to get them. As I got up from eating my lunch, I looked out of the window and lo and behold, he had worked out that if he jumped from the garage roof, he would be able to snack away as usual on the nuts despite the baffle! I just give up! I can't seem to find anywhere else to hang the nut feeders that don't involve jumping from a tree or roof!

I am out tonight with the girls I used to work with as they have invited me to their Christmas meal. I used to organise it so it's nice to see that someone else has taken over and invited me back.
