I was very surprised when I looked out of the kitchen window this morning to see a scruffy looking jay. I think he was a bit wet and soggy as it doesn't seem to know that we have had enough rain now thank you very much! A lovely looking bird but naughty as they steal the young birds so it was not surprising at that time, there wasn't another bird to be seen in the garden. They all came back a few minutes after he had gone.
By the way, the odd shapes in the background of this photo are information about which potatoes that I set and where they are as I always want to know which ones were the best for our needs.
