It was lovely to see this red kite cruising in a cloudless blue sky. They are such beautiful birds and I could watch them for hours.
I was feeling defiant today so walked through the fields that have been decimated down towards the lock in the village. I have since learned that this was done in May when there were whitethroats nesting which is absolutely disgusting and I wish I could get my hands on the people responsible. Anyway, rant over!
