Hoopoe by rosiekind

Hoopoe

This is a filler as I forgot to post a photo today when I had my laptop turned on. I saw this lovely hoopoe along Wood Lane in our village about 4 or 5 years ago. People came from all over the country to see this lovely bird who must have gone off course as they are not native in the UK. What a pleasure it was to see him and I did something I would never have done if I had been in my right mind, I got in to a strange man’s car when he offered me a lift to get to Hill Top Farm. Fortunately he wasn’t an axe murderer so I am still here to tell the tale,

Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated
Excellent capture
