I went into Bedford this morning as I wanted to give a little gift to someone I know (as it's her birthday today) who we meet in Cafe Crema - a very nice coffee shop that we have been visiting for more than 20 years. I didn't know whether she would be there but knew that the chaps behind the counter would give it to her. I stopped to have a cuppa and then walked back along the Embankment where I had parked my car. I took a few photos and then changed lenses to do a bit of landscape which I don't usually do. As I walked over the butterfly bridge, I met someone I know from Camera Club and after chatting for several minutes, we decided to walk the length of the Embankment before I returned to my car. It was very pleasant.
