Peacock butterfly by rosiekind

Peacock butterfly

Sitting in the sunshine at Priory this afternoon, it was lovely and quite warm. I saw this lovely butterfly on the blossom while we were there. We kept our distance from people and I think everyone seems to be taking the 2m distance seriously.

Thank you for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always much appreciated.

@ludwigsdiana We are allowed to go out for exercise once a day so long as we keep 2m between us. It is something to look forward to- going for a walk each day

Super shot Rosie. Peter picked up my camera today and photographed one on the driveway. Think he was just drying his wings! (the butterfly, not Peter!)

@rosiekind that is wonderful Rosie, people are not allowed to leave their homes here, not even allowed to walk their dogs! Fortunately we live on a private security estate with large open spaces and allowed to do what we normally do. Only allowed to do it with people living in your household, no more than 2 people and have to keep our social distance from others.

@ludwigsdiana They have tightened things up here now so that we are only allowed to walk in the neightbourhood so long as we keep our distance and also, like you, we are only allowed to walk with others in our household. We shall have to walk round the village today!
