Shaggy Inkcap Coprinus comatus by rosiekind

Shaggy Inkcap Coprinus comatus

I had to look it up to get it's proper name! These seem to pop up anywhere in the garden during Autumn and we have several other species all in the lawn. I haven't had much inspiration today so thought I would just post this as it was literally on my doorstep!

Thank you for all your kind comments and Favs and for getting yesterday's black swan on PP. It is always much appreciated.
The texture on the mushroom reminds me of the top of a lemon meringue pie.
