My new air fryer by rosiekind

My new air fryer

Although we don't eat a lot of fried food and only eat chips once a week, i decided that it was a wake up call when the Cardiologist couldn't get past my elbow to carry out the pressure wire test. This was because the arteriy in my arm was also narrated. This is why I am on a mission to prevent any more problems with my health. I cooked roast potatoes yesterday with less than a tablespoon of oil and they tasted just fine so I am hoping that my chips will taste good after I use the air fryer for the first time tonight
I have had an air fryer for over a year and use it all lot. I love using it.

I've been making chips in the air fryer for over a year now and they are really nice. I even make jacket potatoes in the air fryer, much quicker than in the oven and it uses a lot less electricity.

Would have be cheaper to give them both a miss Rosie and stick to boiled and Jacket potatos, but whats the fun in that:)

Hope you get on OK with it certainly uses less fat. My hubby was told by the dietician to always use only Virgin or extra Virgin olive oil for cooking as it helped the heart.

Not sure how we have been able to not have the air fryer. We use it all the time now. Makes great baked potatoes. You;ll be surprised what all you can cook in it.

We use ours all the time! It's amazing how little oil it takes and how good things taste. Jim's made fish in it as well as veggies. Broccoli comes out great!

That sounds wonderful Rosie and certainly a great option. Hope your meal worked out well. I do not have one yet, but am tempted ;-)

I'd never even heard of such a thing! Good luck with it, it sounds like it will be a very useful item to have.
