How is it, in this quiet corner of Bedfordshire, that you’ll find the oldest flying aircraft in the world? That’s thanks to Richard Shuttleworth who, during the 1930s, rescued old aircraft and vehicles and brought them to Old Warden Park to restore.
I decided to visit Shuttleworth this afternoon for a cup of tea and I saw these people across the field with a very different aircraft to the ones I usually see there. When they have a flying day, they have all their very old world war aircraft out.
Thank you for getting yesterday's robin on PP and for all your kind comments and Favs. It is always very much appreciated.
