Bluebell by rosiekind

Bluebell

I was sitting waiting for the birds to come back and just happened to snap this bluebell and when I uploaded it to my PC, I rather liked it so thought I would post this in one of my albums today. This is SOOC not even cropped - pure unadulterated bluebell! I don't usually do anything to my pics other than a bit of cropping now and again

A poem I wrote many moons ago and came across it on a memory stick. I had forgotten about this and used to love writing poetry but haven't done so for quite a while. Hope you enjoy it

Spring

We begin a new day
Diamonds cascade from a blue sky
Leaves of pale hue bud from trees
Let us walk within the realms of nature
And appreciate the beauty around us
Young skipping through a sea of green
Dotted with daisy stems among the bowers
Lambs, bullocks and waddling ducklings
Sight of spring tinged with a new beginning
In preparation for the end in sight
Village green, dancing children, queen of the May
Red, white and blue streamers flutter in the light breeze
Which tells of the merriment enjoyed in a typically English scene
We’ve had the day dedicated to the English saint
May has followed as sure as night follows day
The height of summer is yet to come
Just appreciate the lure of spring
Well it is a wonderful shot all the mores so because it is sooc!
