Sunshine after the rain

It was nice to see the sun shining on these green leaves today. I'm not sure what kind of tree this is but it has cotton woolly type stuff that comes from it later on. I'm not very good with knowing what type of trees we have but if anyone knows, then please feel free to tell me. The leaves are always lovely when they are new just like all new things, they are very delicate and pretty and they have a silvery tinge

@rosiekind We had some where I grew up but I think the leaves were a little different. There may be more than one variety though!
