Purple Flower
Not sure what this but it was taken last week at RSPB. Frustrating that I can't use camera and I'm typing this with left hand.

Beautiful shot - super detail.
It's an Acanthus, most probably Acanthus mollis. It's common name is Bear's Breeches or Oyster Plant and it's a non-native plant. Fabulous looking plant - I came across one growing on its own on Kiln Lane in Clophill that must be a garden escape.
