This is the flower of the strange plant - you can see the leaves on the left. I don't know what it is and it's quite boring really although Steve likes it. The flower has really sheer white around the yellow stamens but you can hardly call them petals. This is as exciting as the flower gets I'm afraid but does anyone know what it is? I would love to know. This was taken today and I think the challenge just seems to get harder each day as I hadn't a clue what to post but I've also posted another one in my Even More album
They are strange - I have one and gave one to my mother years ago. She says it's called Paint Brush flower! I call it shaving brush!! I posted a close up of mine not long ago. http://365project.org/mejbronant/365/2012-09-09
