The collared doves were feeding on the robin seed that was in the feeder. I didn't really think all the different things in the mix would have appealed to them but I suppose they would probably eat anything they can get in this weather. It has virtually snowed thin powdery snow on and off all day so far! I didn't realise that birds eat snow when they can't get a drink from frozen bird baths either. They say that you learn something new everyday and they (whoever they are) are quite right!
