Birds in Wood Lane

Top left is a green woodpecker and the pic on bottom left is to show the tree he was sitting in and how far away he was. I had to crop the one above to see what bird it was but thought by it's shape and stance that it was a woodie. Phil Pheasant in the middle was with another cock pheasant but they both ran away when they saw me. However, when I came back down the lane, he flew over into the field with the chestnut mare. Top right is a collared dove and bottom right is a not very good capture of a yellowhammer who happened to be hiding in the tree. The birds were not terribly obliging and didn't really want to pose for me despite me asking them nicely!
A super collection of shots.
