First Blossom

I think that I've posted a pic of this blossom in my neighbour's garden nearly every year that I've been on 365 but I couldn't resist as it is so pretty. Despite being blown about, it is managing to stay on the tree. It has now started raining but I've got most things done that I wanted to do today so I'm quite satisfied. We didn't go to town this afternoon as some friends popped in to see us from Eastbourne and it was so lovely to see them. We were late with our lunch so I decided to go out and deliver my timers to the Neighbourhood Watch people in my road which the Police charity have funded. I only had 10 to give out so had to give them to the people I thought could probably not afford to buy them themselves.

On the way back, I stopped off to see one of the people who live in the new cul de sac who has been in touch with the Police about inconsiderate parking as it is quite dangerous. He seemed a nice chap and we discussed the Parish Council which I think could do with some new blood. Hopefully, he will get involved because currently we have a lot of old fuddy duddies who object to any sort of new idea. He was also concerned about the lack of street lighting and I had to agree with him. It is awful that in this day and age, there are no street lights in more than half the village.
A pretty capture!!
