I'm never sure about the colour because my laptop monitor is obviously way out. When I submitted a candid pic of a black guy to a Camera Club internal competition, I was horrified to find that he looked quite red on the screen. It was a hot day but I'm not sure whether black people go red in the heat? Anyway, before I submit any more, I shall print one off to check the colour. I was going to calibrate the screen on the laptop but as it is causing me so many problems (despite being less than 3 years old) I might just go and get a new one as I've really had enough of it! The money I've wasted on laptops is ridiculous. Anyone got any tips on buying a good laptop? Please let me know. My Acer which was my first one still works but it is very slow as it doesn't have a lot of memory. I'm thinking of going for a Dell as I don't want Windows 8 as people say that it's rubbish although someone yesterday told me that 8.1 is OK. Your comments would be much appreciated
Great shot, I have heard mixed reviews about windows8.1. Have used Dell in the past and they were great, however use Apple now. Which is not everyone's cuppa but great for my photo's and music.
I had huge problems when my last laptop died in June - 8.1 a free upgrade improved it no end. It will take a bit of getting used to and I like it now.
My last computer was a Dell but I was told they aren't as good now and to go for a lenevo - I'm happy with it. Good luck!
