I've had a day off work using annual leave up and although I've got some good bird pics, they do need cropping but I haven't got a laptop to do it! Today's pics have got to be SOOC and this robin was a happy interlude in my day. I thought I would try a recipe out of Paul Hollywood's Pies & Puds recipe book which Claire bought me for my birthday and I did need to give those prunes a go after pushing in when buying them on the stall in Cambridge. I cooked a prune and chocolate tart which has dark chocolate, brandy, prunes, muscapone eggs and double cream in it. I just hope it tastes OK because I must admit it was a bit of a fag making it. It has chocolate pastry which is not as easy as I thought it would be. Fingers crossed that it was worth the effort
