This was taken through the fence at Danish Camp where they are getting ready for their new year celebrations. It is a log cabin on the river that is a restaurant and visitor centre and in the garden of their property, they have a pond with all sorts of ducks and geese. I just liked this little fellow but am not sure what type of goose he is.
It has been a very busy day for the emergency services as we have heard ambulances, police cars and a fire engine rushing towards the A1 the major road which is about 3 miles away. We seem to have had emergency vehicles passing through so frequently today. I think there must have been quite a pile up when all 3 went together with several police cars, etc. Why do people rush about as if it is the end of the world! Perhaps if they took a bit more time and care, we wouldn't have so many accidents.
