My pumpkin (which I didn't really do anything with) is collapsing in the garden and this blackbird looked at me as if to ask why I hadn't got rid of it yet! I thought that using the pumpkin as a backdrop it provided a natural bright colour so that he stood out as it's often hard to get them to look anything with a grey background and with the light being poor when I took this.
I bought the pumpkin with the idea of getting the squirrels to eat their nuts from it but never seemed to have any time to set it all up. Good intentions that did not come to anything.
