Before Steve's mum died in 1984 from cancer, she sat is the garden and a red admiral butterfly came and sat on her. Every year we have a red admiral butterfly in the garden and they often sit on Steve. He can put his hand out and they fly onto it - it's rather weird really and I'm sure that Steve thinks it's a sign that his mother is still around which is comforting.
