After sitting in the hide for quite a long time, I walked over to the field opposite the RSPB and on scanning the vegetation saw a flock of reed buntings as well as a few yellowhammers. You can always be sure to see lots of birds in the fields around if you go exploring. This male reed bunting caught my eye although I did take rather a lot of shots so I have only had time to go through a few. I'm off to Camera Club tonight - it's the first night back after the holidays so I must find the program and see what treat we are in for tonight. I know next week it will be competition night and the theme is rural architecture and I've already submitted mine so it will be interesting to see how they fare.
