This little dove was on the grass underneath the finch feeder hanging from the washing line. The greenfinches are rather messy eaters and she was obviously lapping up the food. At least it saves the seed growing in the grass.
Awesome capture. I just wonder about the doves, it just seems that they have a hard time on the feeder and seem to stay mainly on the ground. Guess it's good that the other birds are so messy. :-)
