The Brook

I went for a walk along the brook this morning hoping to see my little blue friend the kingfisher but alas no luck! However, it was a lovely morning with bright sunshine, the smell of autumn and a nice peaceful walk. I love the smell of autumn and if I could bottle it, I would call it "Forever Autumn". I am a silly billy!

The brook has a couple of names - some call it Elstow Brook although we are quite a few miles from Elstow although that could be where it starts. Some call it Gadsby's Brook so I have no idea which one is right so I just call it the brook.
