I did see this fellow when I was in the hide. It didn't really matter that there weren't many birds about because I chatted to a very nice man about where we had been and what we had seen. I always seem to find someone to chat to up there
I hope not too many of these lovely birds end up on someone's dinner table this Christmas. I think they look too nice in the fields and would rather that they stayed there!
I wouldn't eat pheasant when my father who was a farmer brought them home for dinner. I really do understand why.
