He looks like he's singing but he's actually shouting
The blackbird was sounding a warning call so I went back to see why he was shouting and thinking that maybe a predator was about. The only thing I can think of was that there had been a red kite flying high in the sky but he was a long way away so I still don't know why he was shouting. I was prepared to help save him from whatever it was.
