I think it's a young one as I saw adults with about 3 of these pigeons. They don't have a white flash on their neck which is why I am assuming that it's a youngster.
Great shot - yes certainly a youngster - no white flashes on his neck or the iridescent green feathers in the neck Also he has still got baby fluffy feathers around the beak!
