Cool Teal

This little mat used to sit on Mum's dressing table. It's funny how we can't part with things just because of who they belonged to. I don't really have anywhere to put it but thought that because the clothes on the boy and girl were cool teal I would post it for today's October challenge. To be honest, I couldn't think of anything else. The other alternative would have been a pic of my blood pressure box of tablets because the writing is teal coloured but not very exciting. However, they do keep me alive so I should think they are cool! LOL

I like the clothes the young couple are wearing. They look Austrian or German - any idea where the mat came from? Like you, I can't bear to part with certain things because of their association with departed parents.

It's always after someone passes on that you wonder why you didn't find out more information about some of the things that you took for granted in their houses.
